Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

Cavioo uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so we do not ask you to accept any.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar space in your browser. We use both only where Cavioo cannot work without them.

What we use

  • Sign-in cookies (Clerk), such as __session and __client_uat: keep you signed in and protect your account. They last as long as your sign-in.
  • Security cookies (Cloudflare), such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance: help tell real visitors apart from attacks. They are set only when that protection needs them, and last a short time.
  • Local storage `caviooDeviceId`: a random identifier that lets Cavioo tell two of your browsers apart when both edit the same report, so one does not overwrite the other. It does not identify you and is not shared.

Payments

When you pay, you do it on a page run by Stripe, which sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those are covered by Stripe’s own cookie policy.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you will not be able to sign in to Cavioo.

Changes

If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly needed, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
